Terms of Service

Welcome to StepVenture. By downloading, installing, or using the StepVenture app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using StepVenture, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use such services) to use StepVenture. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian review these Terms with you.

3. Account and use

You sign in to StepVenture using your Apple ID, Google account, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information where requested and keep your account details up to date. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Step and health data should be used only for your personal fitness and enjoyment within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

5. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. 6. Subscriptions and payments

Some features of StepVenture may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed by RevenueCat. Payment terms, billing, and refunds are governed by the applicable store's policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds; refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google. Subscription terms (e.g. free trial, renewal, cancellation) are displayed in the App and at the point of purchase.

7. Intellectual property

StepVenture and its content, features, design, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or our materials without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App and any reliance on step or health data is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StepVenture and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars (100 USD), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland, unless otherwise required by mandatory law in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
